Q Community

Q Community is the platform for our work in supporting and collaborating with other communities focused on gender equality and inclusion. Through initiatives, partnerships and knowledge exchange, we actively contribute to strengthening networks and contexts that promote a more representative tech industry.

Q Community is Consid’s initiative to actively contribute to local communities and advance diversity within tech. By collaborating with non-profit organisations working to empower marginalised groups in tech, we provide support in the form of training, mentorship, CV reviews and network-building opportunities.

Partnerships driving change

Since the launch of Q by Consid, we have initiated several efforts to support and strengthen organisations working towards gender equality and inclusion. Below are some examples.

In autumn 2024, Consid initiated a partnership with ReDI School of Digital Integration to support migrants and marginalised groups in taking the step into the Swedish labour market. Through initiatives such as AI evenings, CV reviews, workshops and mentorship programmes, participants gain both practical and strategic tools to succeed in the digital job market.

In collaboration with one of our clients in southern Sweden, Q Community runs the initiative “Math for Ukraine”. A few dedicated client representatives based in Lund use Consid’s premises to host regular study evenings for around fifteen children who have fled the war in Ukraine and are now attending school in Lund. Several of our consultants from the local office volunteer their time to teach mathematics and, at the children’s request, have also delivered an introductory course in programming. The initiative is an example of how local collaboration and technical expertise can make a tangible difference in children’s lives.

Consid has donated computers, mobile phones and other digital equipment to women and children in need of sheltered accommodation and a fresh start.

On several occasions, our consultants in Lund have organised sessions with Ukrainian children who have fled the war, teaching them programming and helping them with their homework.

Consid has donated computers, mobile phones and other digital equipment to Erikshjälpen.
