Consid and ReDI School in Collaboration: “Diversity Makes Us Successful”
This fall, Consid is launching a new collaboration with ReDI School of Digital Integration to help migrants and marginalized groups step into the Swedish job market. Through AI evenings, workshops, and mentorship programs, the collaboration aims to provide participants with both practical and strategic tools to succeed in the digital workplace.
ReDI School of Digital Integration is a nonprofit tech school that offers migrants and marginalized groups free and equitable access to digital education. This new partnership is an initiative to break down barriers and create a more inclusive and equal job market.
– This is incredibly exciting! It feels truly rewarding to be practically involved in something that actually makes a difference, says Filippa Ahlcrona, Head of Q by Consid.
As part of the collaboration, Consid will host an AI evening at one of its offices. ReDI School participants will have the opportunity to network and converse with Consid’s experienced consultants, who will share insights into the tech industry.
Consid’s sales team will also offer CV reviews and provide advice on how to navigate the Swedish digital job market. Consid experts will explain what employers look for in this rapidly changing landscape and how to best position oneself to stand out.
– Everyone, regardless of background, has the right to participate in working life on equal terms. However, we need to create conditions that maintain a work culture where people feel happy and want to stay. By working on this as a company, we contribute to better decision-making, productivity, creativity, and innovation. Imagine sitting in a room full of people who think and are exactly like you – who will challenge, question, and bring new perspectives? Diversity makes us successful.
The IT company’s HR and recruitment departments will also organize workshops on labor law, interview techniques, and how the Swedish job market works. These workshops aim to provide participants with the information and confidence they need to take the next step in their careers.
All ReDI School participants are invited to take part in Consid’s annual hackathon, Considition, where they will have the chance to create innovative solutions to real-world challenges. They are also welcome to apply for the company’s mentorship program, Q Mentoria, where they will receive a personal mentor to support their development both personally and professionally.
– I hope that Consid can inspire, share knowledge, and give people the tools they need to enter the Swedish job market.
For several years, Consid has actively promoted inclusion and equality in the IT and tech industry through its initiative, Q by Consid. By partnering with ReDI School, Consid continues its work towards a job market where everyone, regardless of background, has the opportunity to contribute and grow.
