Consid Denmark: Scandinavian Collaboration Fuels 400 Percent Growth
In autumn 2022, Consid established its second international office in Copenhagen, Denmark. Just 2.5 years later, Consid ApS is proud to report an impressive 400 percent growth over the last 12 months – driven largely by strong collaboration across the Øresund Strait.
With solid foundations in both Denmark and Sweden, Consid has become a key player in the Øresund region, leveraging cultural cohesion, geographic proximity, and economic advantages to drive success. The company now operates 10 offices in the Øresund region and has nearly 400 consultants working together as a cohesive force. When presenting its 2024 results, CEO Michael Lund Andersen emphasized how the Øresund region has provided a unique platform for growth.
– Swedish consultants are in high demand in Denmark. We’re able to offer competitive pricing due to the weak Swedish krona, but also deliver significant expertise and a deep understanding of Danish values. The Øresund region is unique in that we can draw strengths from both sides of the strait – culturally and professionally, says Michael Lund Andersen.
Significant Growth in Copenhagen
Consid’s Copenhagen office, located on H.C. Andersen Boulevard, has experienced remarkable development. By the end of 2023, the office had 17 consultants. By December 2024, the number of consultants assigned to projects in Greater Copenhagen had risen to 38.
– We’ve more than doubled the number of consultants working on assignments in Greater Copenhagen. It’s fantastic to see that we’ve become such an attractive employer in Denmark. When we started, our goal was to have 40 consultants working on assignments by the end of 2024, and we’ve almost reached that. Our revenue has also grown significantly – from DKK 7.5 million in 2023 to DKK 30 million in 2024 – representing a 400 percent increase.
Strategic Partnerships Driving Growth
A significant part of this growth can be attributed to Consid’s ability to form strategic partnerships. In the summer of 2024, Consid was included as a supplier in SKI’s (Statens og Kommunernes Indkøbsservice) dynamic purchasing system. Additionally, Consid expanded its deliveries to the Øresund Bridge Consortium and other major Danish clients.

The Øresund region plays a central role in Consid’s strategy, offering a framework for collaboration that combines the best of both countries.
– Greater Copenhagen is a fantastic example of how politicians and the business community can work together to promote growth and innovation across borders. It’s a region where we, as a company, can leverage synergies and strengthen our position in both Denmark and Sweden, says Michael.
Consid also sees significant potential in expanding its activities to Jutland as the next step. A closer collaboration with Swedish colleagues is a natural part of this strategy.
