Consid Establishes Office in Lidköping – Gains Local Media Attention

IT and communications company Consid is expanding its footprint once again, this time in Lidköping, marking its 38th location. The move has garnered significant coverage in the local publication Nya Lidköpings-tidningen, featuring a prominent article at the beginning of the week.

– Our aim is to have around 30 employees in Lidköping within two years. We are well aware of the substantial demand for our services in the region. With an existing office in Skövde, we already have a fair grasp of the market. Our primary focus will be on expertise in project management, Java, and senior .NET development, states Åsa Vallmar, Head of the Lidköping office, in the article.

Consid already has four employees on site and will initially set up shop at the Bahnhof office hotel in central Lidköping. Of course, plans for a dedicated workspace are already in the pipeline.

– Given how much of our waking hours are spent at work, we believe it’s only natural to create an environment where everyone feels at home. The office should serve as a workspace, but also a gathering spot with an open-door policy. This is precisely what we aim to foster in Lidköping, adds Åsa Vallmar in NLT’s coverage.

Consid’s CEO, Peter Hellgren, envisions promising prospects for the Lidköping office. The aspiration is for the company who just had over 2 billion SEK in turnover, with its offices in both Lidköping and Skövde, to effectively cover significant portions of the northern Västra Götaland region.
