Consid Expands in Dalarna – Grows by 150%

The IT and communications company Consid is expanding its presence in Dalarna. Today, it was confirmed that the company has acquired Aspire’s operations in Borlänge, following negotiations with CombinedX, Aspire’s parent company.

– This is a fantastic opportunity for us to strengthen our relationships with both existing and new clients in the region. We look forward to continuing the outstanding work Aspire has done and ensuring its continued success, said Peter Hellgren, CEO of Consid.

Aspire’s Borlänge office will now become part of Consid, marking a significant step in Consid’s regional expansion.

– Dalarna is a region experiencing substantial growth, and we see this as a strategic move to better position ourselves for future opportunities and projects, said Christoffer Nilsson, Regional Manager at Consid.

Consid first established its presence in Dalarna and Borlänge in the fall of 2022, with an initial goal of creating approximately 40 new jobs over two years. Following this merger, Consid will now have around 60 employees in Borlänge.

– We have no intention of stopping with this expansion, as we have set even more ambitious goals. One of our key targets is to exceed 100 employees within the next two years. Our immediate focus is on warmly welcoming our new colleagues and ensuring they feel supported. While the formal transfer will not occur until January 2025, we are already beginning this process, added Christoffer Nilsson.
