Consid Nominated for Establishment of the Year
Two years ago, Consid moved to Trollhättan and has since developed into an integral part of the city's business community. As Trollhättan City, in collaboration with Företagarna Trollhättan, prepares to honor outstanding contributors to the local business scene at the Trollhättan Business Awards 2024, Consid is among the nominees in the category of Establishment of the Year.
– We were thrilled and proud when the call came from Trollhättan City’s business unit. It’s validation that what we’ve done has been recognized locally. It’s a great honor to be one of the three nominated companies in the city. It’s tough competition, and it’s exciting to be among the nominees. Of course, we want to win, but in a way, we’ve already won, says Viktoria Johansson, the local manager at Consid in Trollhättan.
The Trollhättan Business Awards 2024, organized by Företagarna Trollhättan and Trollhättan City, is an evening dedicated to Trollhättan’s business community. The purpose is to highlight companies and individuals who have made wise, innovative, and courageous decisions in 2023.
Awards are given in various categories, including Startup of the Year and Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Consid is listed as one of the three finalists in the category Establishment of the Year category.
The motivation reads:
“With its establishment in Trollhättan, the company provides jobs, energy, and growth to the city center and the entire city. Through genuine community engagement, Consid aims to create real change. The company focuses on issues such as gender equality and sustainability, making them an attractive employer contributing to their industry and the place they operate in.”
– We have invested a lot of time in participating in local events, networking with various stakeholders in the city, and being visible to attract employees and customers. From the beginning, we have also focused on sustainability and gender equality, which has been recognized and appreciated locally. Consid is an established company for many years but new in Trollhättan. Despite not being founded in Trollhättan, we believe we stand out because we show a strong commitment to the city, what happens here, and that local roots are important to us, says Anna Kaiser, the local manager at Consid.
It was in 2022 that the IT and communication company Consid set its roots in Trollhättan. Consid is now present in over 40 locations across the Nordic region with nearly 2000 employees. The development of operations in Trollhättan, like the company as a whole, has progressed rapidly. The goal for 2024 is to further develop operations in the city and continue hiring. Already, several new employees are on their way in.
The company has been named Sweden’s best employer for three consecutive years and places great importance on ensuring its employees feel at home at work. Local engagement is also something that distinguishes Consid. Through local engagement, the company aims to contribute to the city it is in and lead in promoting the local business community.
– We believe in the establishment in Trollhättan and are here to stay. We have no problem rolling up our sleeves and doing what it takes, both high and low. Almost all the foundational pillars are in place now to build on our journey. In addition to growth, we will continue to engage in various ways locally, attract more employees, and assist customers. Another crucial puzzle piece is finding our future dream office. It will help us become the meeting place we want to be for our employees, customers, partners, and the city’s residents, says Anna Kaiser.
