Consid Nominated for Newcomer Award in Germany
In November 2022, Consid entered the German market. After a steady progression marked by key milestones and a growing presence, Consid has now been nominated for the "Newcomer of the Year" award by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Germany.
– This is incredibly exciting. It’s a clear indication that our daily efforts are making a meaningful impact for the company and bringing us closer to our goal of becoming Northern Europe’s leading IT and digital transformation partner, said Patrik Hall, CEO of Consid GmbH.
Two years after its establishment, Consid proudly reflects on its successful model of introducing a Swedish company into the German market. While Consid GmbH is a German-registered company, its core remains deeply rooted in Swedish values and cultural heritage.
– It’s clear that there’s a strong demand for a company that operates a little differently—one that carries the values we’ve embraced from our roots, which, in a German context, are distinctly Swedish, Hall added.
The path taken by Patrik Hall, Lars Napret, Lena Fahrenkrug, Daniel Lupzig, and the rest of the Hamburg team has proven fruitful, attracting significant clients who are drawn to Consid’s unique approach. Moreover, during its first year, Consid was named the second-best employer in Hamburg and the eighth-best employer across all of Germany.
– We are a highly attractive partner in the German market. This applies to business engagements with German firms, but also in how Sweden has become an increasingly appealing country for nearshore operations, which we’ve successfully capitalized on, Hall continued.
Consid’s successes have led to its nomination for the “Newcomer of the Year” award as part of the Swedish Business Awards in Germany. This prestigious recognition, presented by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Germany, Business Sweden, and the Swedish Embassy, has been awarded annually since 2003.
In addition to the “Newcomer of the Year” category, awards are presented to large and medium-sized enterprises, as well as for German investments in Sweden. On the evening of November 21, representatives from both the German and Swedish business communities will gather in Berlin to celebrate Swedish businesses making strides in the German market.
– It feels almost surreal to be part of this, but it shows that hard work pays off. The aspects that initially drew me to Consid—a clear and open Swedish identity—have also attracted other businesses. We’ve had two fantastic years, which gives us strong confidence in the future, said Lars Napret, Regional Manager.
