Consid Reports Q3 Results – Increases New Sales
Consid solidifies its position as one of the Nordic region’s leading IT partners. Recently recognized as Sweden’s Best Employer for the fourth consecutive year and awarded Gasell Company status for the eleventh time, the company’s Q3 figures suggest sustained growth heading into 2024.
The past autumn marked significant milestones for Consid’s development. The company has bolstered its position by capitalizing on new areas with fresh clients and, to some extent, new technologies. Carl Hagberg, Head of Sales, acknowledges that there is still progress to be made but notes positive trends in the market, indicating larger business volumes in the long term.
– When we compare our current situation with last year, we see signs of a market breakthrough, even though more progress lies ahead. Our new sales in Q3 2023 reached SEK 187 million; in 2024, this figure rose to SEK 329 million. This doesn’t mean the market has returned to pre-pandemic levels or those of recent years, but it’s a clear indication that we’re moving in the right direction.
Consid’s international expansion has been a key driver of these results. The company’s long-term work in implementing a delivery model built on blended teams has proven to be a strong value proposition.
– We’ve made significant strides in cross-border collaborations, leveraging our cultural and geographical proximity to countries like Germany and Denmark. We’ve observed that our Swedish consultants are highly valued, both for their expertise and competitive pricing, especially with the weak krona against the Danish krone and euro.
Earlier this year, Consid recorded one of its best months ever in terms of new sales. The same pattern seen then is reflected in Q3, with new areas driving shifts in parts of the consultancy operations. While neither Q3 nor October reached those record levels, Carl Hagberg remains optimistic about 2025.
– Breaking Q3 down month by month, we see clear improvements compared to 2023, in some cases quite substantial. In October, our new sales reached SEK 199 million, the second-highest figure we’ve recorded. As a company, we’re larger than ever, which partly explains this growth. Another factor, as mentioned, is the emerging signs of a breakthrough, indicating further opportunities in the coming year, Carl Hagberg concludes.
