Consid Wins Framework Agreement with Husbanken worth 300 million NOK
The IT company Consid secures a part in a new major procurement in Norway. Husbanken is purchasing IT services worth up to 300 million NOK per year. Consid is one of ten companies that will get a piece of the pie. The procurement process was largely decided based on quality criteria, which was crucial for the allocation of the framework agreement.
– We have proven ourselves time and time again with public contracts here in Norway and are beginning to build up a bank of experience and knowledge around digitalization work in this environment. Husbanken is an important societal actor, and getting the assignment from them is both inspiring and educational, says Steffen Breen, CEO of Consid AS.
Founded in 1946, Husbanken was established as a positive force in the housing market with the task of enabling everyone to own their own home. The mission is as relevant in 2024 as it was 80 years ago. When Husbanken announced last December that they intended to purchase IT services, Consid was one of the companies that entered the procurement process.
In the procurement, which focuses on a range of IT services, Consid is awarded alongside ten other companies. Consid’s consultants will support Husbanken’s own Digitalization Office in developing innovative user-oriented digital solutions during the period, as well as the overall digitalization work at the bank. The agreement runs for six months, with extensions of 18+12+12 months, up to a maximum of four years, with a maximum value of 300 million NOK.
Since the IT company Consid opened its office in Oslo in the fall of 2021, the business has secured several significant contracts with public Norwegian entities. Throughout Consid’s 23-year history, the company has aimed for a mix of private companies and the public sector. This creates stability that has provided a robust foundation for the Oslo office in its first few years.
– Consid Norway aims to grow by 100% annually over the next three years, both in revenue and in employees. Currently, we have just over 40 employees in Norway. The agreement with Husbanken is a good step towards achieving our ambitious goals, says Steffen Breen.
