Consid Wins Procurement with the Öresunds Consortium
IT and communications company Consid has now entered into a comprehensive agreement with the Öresund Consortium. The contract includes deliveries in both Sweden and Denmark, two countries where Consid is established. This involves a procurement worth 120 million SEK over four years.
– For us, it feels great to have an assignment that may include both Consid Sweden and Consid in Denmark. The Öresund Consortium and the bridge are symbols of Swedish and Danish cooperation; let it continue to be so, says Peter Hellgren, CEO and founder of Consid.
The framework agreement with the Öresund Consortium covers the procurement of IT consultants and IT project management and will be primarily managed by Consid’s Swedish branch over the next four years, with the possibility of deliveries also in Denmark. Consid is ranked first in the procurement and will handle a significant portion of the Öresund Consortium’s IT needs.
– It’s a significant and important assignment, and we are very committed to managing it as well as possible. The Öresund Consortium is an important company from many perspectives, and we are delighted to provide consultants to them, says Emil Sjöqvist, Team Manager Sales at Consid and responsible for the agreement with the Öresund Consortium.
Consid has presented strong figures for the first half of 2023. The company has continued to increase its turnover by a remarkable 30.7 percent, equivalent to 1360 million SEK, and has signed several major strategic framework agreements. Since its establishment in Denmark in 2022, Consid has grown rapidly, and there are now 27 employees at the office in Copenhagen. Consid’s strengthened presence beyond Sweden’s borders opens the opportunity to offer expertise locally under the framework agreement with the Öresund Consortium, which covers both countries.
– Over the years, we have shown that we are a reliable and credible partner for both companies and the public sector. The fact that we can now offer expertise locally in over 40 locations and in several countries is another step in raising the quality and efficiency of our work. We look forward to doing our utmost to meet the Öresund Consortium’s expectations, says Emil Sjöqvist.
The procurement is estimated to be worth 120 million SEK over four years.
