Consid’s Collaboration with Vision Gains Media Attention
Last week, the new project of the trade union Vision and Consid was unveiled. Consid, as a partner, will construct Vision's "digital house" – a hub for the entire union's operations.
The collaboration made headlines and garnered attention in publications like Dagens Infrastruktur:
“Vision has chosen to invest in a new digital platform with the goal of creating a ‘digital house’ that leverages Vision’s capabilities, optimizes information management, and streamlines administration,” writes Dagens Infrastruktur.
Peter Hellgren, CEO of Consid, emphasizes the significance the company places on the deal:
– Vision is seeking a modern platform for digital services that can recruit new members and representatives while supporting existing ones. At Consid, we are incredibly pleased to have earned their trust to realize this, and we will do our utmost to make their goals a reality, says Peter Hellgren.
The new digital initiative is a response to Vision’s substantial growth in membership over the past years, outgrowing the older website from 2013.
–Vision has never had more members than now, and we are committed to continuing to increase our union strength. That’s why we are making a sustainable investment in a new digital platform for our current and future members and representatives, says Anna Svedbom, Head of Digital Channels at Vision and project manager.
The platform is being built on Sitevision, providing flexibility and scalability. Dagens Infrastruktur notes, “Sitevision is an extremely flexible platform, with strengths lying not least in editor user-friendliness, high standard functionality. Through Sitevision, there are endless possibilities to combine user-friendliness with aesthetically pleasing design.”
– Sitevision as a platform gives Vision high flexibility while also providing access to a lot of standard functionality, making it the perfect choice for Vision,” adds Alexander Gustafsson, Business and Partner Manager for Sitevision at Consid. Vision’s website, publications, and logged-in sections, often referred to as “My Pages,” involve numerous editors. The platform’s user-friendliness empowers these editors to easily publish information on both public and logged-in pages, including local information for local chapters. Sitevision is delivered as a SaaS service, ensuring maximum availability and reliability – a crucial aspect for Vision, says Alexander Gustafsson.
