Consid’s Founders Honored for Entrepreneurship
Peter Hellgren and Henrik Sandell established Consid 23 years ago. During the Founders of the Year Award, the duo secured an honorable second place in the "Large Size Companies" category.
– Being recognized in this way alongside Henrik feels incredibly rewarding. We’ve toiled together with Consid since we started in 2000. There have been many laughs and successes, but also hard work to realize the company we dreamed of when we embarked on this journey, says Peter Hellgren, CEO of Consid.
When the duo broke away from their previous jobs to found Consid, their goal was to build the company they had always dreamed of working for, and one that customers wanted to work with. The vision and journey that Consid has undertaken is something that stands out from the crowd and impressed the jury, who also evaluate companies based on an index of past performance, future potential, and societal impact.
In a press release, the Founders Foundation states:
“Consid was founded in 2000 by Henrik Sandell and Peter Hellgren, where they are majority shareholders together. By gathering leading industry expertise in the IT sector, Consid creates lasting and sustainable value for top global companies. This has made Consid the fastest-growing IT consulting company in northern Europe, achieved through organic growth. With over 1800 employees and more than 40 offices in the Nordic region, Germany, and Poland, Consid continues its growth.”
– The recent years have been intense. We’ve faced a global pandemic with all its implications for the market, as well as a recession that has affected us all. Despite this, we’ve found ways forward for the company and are now in a very exciting phase of expansion with offices in six countries, says Henrik Sandell, CTO at Consid.
The category where Consid’s founders secured a second place, Large Size Companies, is for private or public limited companies with a turnover of over 50 million euros. Consid closed 2022 with just over two billion in turnover and made a profit of over 200 million Swedish kronor.
