Consid’s Unique Oslo Office Highlighted in Finansavisen
The business newspaper Finansavisen recently highlighted Consid and the company's growth in Norway in a detailed article. Among other things, Steffen Breen, CEO of Consid AS, talks about the exclusive office on Karl Johans Gate and the belief that there will be up to 15 Consid offices in Norway in three years.
Over the past year, Consid has made significant strides in Norway. Several important and large contracts allow Steffen Breen and his colleagues to look optimistically toward the future and set high goals for the company’s development moving forward.
– We are growing and reinvesting every penny earned back into the company. We will grow, both in terms of the number of offices and colleagues, and we hope that within three years we will have found 10-15 new offices in larger and smaller cities across Norway. We want to be close to the customer, whether they are in Bergen or Hamar – and all offices should have the best location, says Steffen Breen to Finansavisen.
The overall goal is to double the number of employees each year over the next three years, from today’s 40 to just over 300. In choosing the office on Karl Johan – next door to exclusive fashion boutiques such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Chanel – Steffen Breen believes he has found the strategy for continued growth.
– To attract the best employees, we have focused on creating a wow factor in our offices. People should think and feel a desire to work with us, he says and continues:
– That’s why Oslo city center was the absolute most important choice for us when we moved from our previous office. Now we’re right on Karl Johan with Chanel and Louis Vuitton as neighbors.
The 600 square meter office has been Consid’s since last summer. The benefits are many, not just emotionally.
– There is a short distance to customers, to public transportation, and most things happening in Oslo. The goal is to become one of the largest IT consulting firms in Norway. We have to think big, says Steffen Breen.
