Full house as eight companies pitched their ideas at Perfect Pitch Jönköping
The auditorium at Spira was packed as eight export companies presented their ideas to an expert jury in Perfect Pitch. Among the jury members was Peter Hellgren, CEO of Consid.
– There were several great pitches. I am delighted to be able to share the knowledge I have gained from founding and running Consid, said Peter Hellgren.
The event is organized by the state-owned business developer Almi, with the aim of helping more export companies in the county to grow. This requires them to become better at selling their ideas to customers, partners, and investors.
– It was a very successful event with a lot of constructive feedback, said Hanna Fransson from the organizer, Almi.
Regional export collaboration, as the name suggests, is a partnership between several actors in the county, including Almi, with the common goal of strengthening local export companies.
One way to reach out is by organizing various events. In December, for example, entrepreneur and venture capitalist Sara Wimmercrantz participated in a panel in Jönköping with local figures.
The goal is simply to sharpen the abilities of local companies, as it is crucial for their success, whether it involves finding investors, partners, or customers.
The jury members, besides Peter Hellgren, were:
Andreas Carlsson, who was instrumental in creating the Swedish music phenomenon that has made Sweden the world’s second-largest exporter of pop music; Carl-Mikael Lindholm from the Carl-Olof and Jenz Hamrin Foundation; and rhetoric expert Elinor Falkman.
– All companies in the county can apply, and then there will be an application process to select eight companies that will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to the jury, she said.
