Great Attention for Consid’s Master Gazelle – Gains Hometown Media Coverage
On Tuesday last week, Consid received a Master Gazelle award from Dagens Industri, further highlighting the company's remarkable growth. The news of this accolade has garnered significant media attention in the respective hometowns of the company's founders.
At the award ceremony held in Stockholm at the Sergel Hub, Consid’s co-founder and CEO, Peter Hellgren, was present and interviewed on stage. In an article in the Jönköpings-Posten, Peter Hellgren is quoted:
– The journey we have undertaken with Consid is something extraordinary,” says Peter Hellgren, CEO. “This is not something that Henrik Sandell or I envisioned nearly 24 years ago when we registered the company with the Swedish Companies Registration Office. It’s incredible what our fantastic colleagues have accomplished over the years.
The other half of the founding duo, Henrik Sandell, made headlines in his hometown of Karlskoga.
– Having grown up in Karlskoga, I’ve witnessed the entrepreneurial spirit that exists in the town. This was something I carried with me when we started Consid. The strength found in smaller cities is something we greatly benefit from in our operations, and it feels fantastic to receive this kind of recognition, Henrik Sandell told Karlskoga Tidning in a longer article, where Peter Hellgren also commented on the company’s success strategy:
– By continuously reinvesting our revenues into the company, we have maintained a high growth rate. On average, Consid’s turnover has increased by 30 percent annually, which is a testament to the success of our self-financed strategy. This has also allowed us to build a strong corporate culture characterized by innovation and long-term planning, attracting talents who value stability and the opportunity to influence their workplace. Today, our annual turnover is 2.6 billion SEK, says Peter Hellgren.
The Master Gazelle award comes after Consid previously received ten consecutive DI Gazelle awards, a fact noted by both media outlets.
“The first time the IT company Consid received a Gazelle award from Dagens Industri was in 2014. Since then, the Jönköping-based company has been awarded a total of ten Gazelle awards,” writes Jönköpings-Posten.
Karlskoga Tidning highlights that this is a near-unique achievement: “To succeed in receiving the award ten years in a row is rare. Only two companies have managed this feat before Consid: Klarna and Engcon. To qualify for a Master Gazelle, one must have received the regular Gazelle award at least three times, a criterion that Consid has far exceeded.”
