New Consid Office in Skövde – A Historic Setting for Innovation
At the beginning of 2022, Consid announced its plans to open an office in Skövde. Now, three years later, the company is ready to move into its new premises in the heart of the city.
– It feels amazing to have a space of our own finally. We’ve been located in Science Park, so the move is just a few hundred meters away. However, this time we’ll have our own building while staying close to the same dynamic area, says Linda Kärnhall, Office Manager in Skövde.
Since its launch in Skövde in August 2022, Consid has operated out of Science Park. The new office is located in the historic Tegelbruket, a charming 19th-century building that played a significant role in Skövde’s industrialization. Today, it’s being transformed to serve as a hub for the next technological revolution: digitalization.
– We’re moving into a space of approximately 500 square meters, which is undergoing extensive renovations to suit our needs. We’re a team of 25 at the moment, and this new location allows us to expand further. It also gives us a unique opportunity to shape the space with our distinct Consid identity, Kärnhall explains.
Kärnhall highlights the vast potential for continued growth in Skövde. The proximity to the entrepreneurial hub Science Park provides Consid with valuable insight into innovative projects and emerging businesses. The move to a new office, just a year after expanding their previous space, is a testament to the office’s strong growth trajectory.
– By the start of 2023, we already needed to expand our office space to meet increasing demands. We have immense confidence in Skövde as a strategic location for Consid and see exciting developments in the local business ecosystem. This is driven both by initiatives from Science Park and the university’s IT-related programs. Moreover, the growing interest in IT and digitalization is opening up new opportunities for collaboration and innovation. It’s a dynamic environment that aligns perfectly with our growth journey, and we look forward to continuing as an active part of this development, Kärnhall concludes.
