One hundred percent growth – Consid expands to a new office in Södertälje
The IT company Consid is experiencing growth in Södertälje. In just the past year, the workforce has doubled. This significant expansion has necessitated the search for a new headquarters, which has now been found.
– It feels fantastic! Currently, we are 25 people; at the beginning of 2023, we were half as many. Doubling our strength in such a short time demonstrates both the power of our company and the potential in Södertälje. Being present for client companies in the immediate vicinity is important, says Fredrik Hammar, office manager in Södertälje.
Over the past three years, Consid has expanded significantly, growing from around 20 offices to nearly 40. In this period of expansion, Södertälje was identified as one of the locations for the IT company to establish itself.
During this period, the office has shown strong figures, both in terms of results and growth.
– Our ambition has always been organic growth. We see no reason to deviate from that now but rather to accelerate. There are significant opportunities in Södertälje. Our ambition now and going forward is to strengthen our delivery for major clients such as Scania and Volkswagen, while also remaining a local holistic partner for many of the smaller local businesses in Södertälje and its surroundings, says Fredrik Hammar.
The move to Kronstrandsgatan 1 provides the office with a solid foundation to contribute to the local business community. Centrally located on the western shore of Lake Mälaren, Fredrik Hammar sees significant opportunities for continued growth.
– We see a great opportunity to grow locally and aim to maintain the same pace, doubling our strength within two years. We feel there is energy and a growing market, and a need for local delivery from both private companies and public organizations. In our comprehensive delivery, we are now also focusing on integrated systems where we see an increasing demand moving forward.
Consid was founded in 2000 with the ambition to be the company that founders Peter Hellgren and Henrik Sandell had always dreamed of working for. This ambition, just like the founders, is still a crucial part of the company’s DNA. This is reflected to a large extent in the company’s exclusive offices.
