Quadruples staff – opens own office space in Lidköping
When Consid launched Lidköping as the next location on the company's office map just under two years ago, it was with the ambition to establish itself and put down roots with its own office in a short time. Now that ambition has become a reality. On Thursday, Consid's office in Lidköping was inaugurated with mingling and networking at the Bellona building.
In 2023, tech consultancy Consid opened its office in Lidköping with Åsa Vallmar as office manager. In the almost two years since then, the company has grown, albeit not at the pace envisioned when the economy was still on a high.
– We had an ambition to be around 30 employees now, but we’re not there. Despite everything the past few years have offered in the form of recession, slower markets and reduced willingness to invest, we have held up well. For example, we have several local, important and large customers, says Åsa Vallmar.
Local customers are a key factor when Åsa and her team look to the future. Since its inception, Consid has based its customer base on a mix of public and private actors, a pattern that is repeated when looking specifically at Lidköping.
– Thanks to focused and long-term work, we have managed to win a number of local customers this year, including Essunga and Lidköping municipalities, Campus Västra Skaraborg and Jula – which is by far our largest delivery where we also see great potential to grow even more.
New Exclusive Office
As of March 2025, Consid Lidköping can now be found in the Bellona building, overlooking the town square. The impressive stone building from the 1800s is known as “the most beautiful house in town” – and has undergone a classic Considification ahead of the move-in.
– We want our offices to feel like something completely different from the typical 9-to-5 workplace. They should be a meeting place that connects people, inspires, and motivates, says Åsa Vallmar.
During yesterday’s opening event, it seemed the vision for the office atmosphere was fully realized.
– We couldn’t have asked for a better evening! It was such a joy to have both colleagues and clients come celebrate with us. Now we’re looking ahead and dreaming of growing even more — we’d love to expand into more floors of this amazing building, says Åsa Vallmar.
Among the invited guests was Erika from the retail company Jula.
– I’ve met so many lovely people, and the space is fantastic – everything here feels so cozy, says Erika.
