Registration for Spring Semester of Q Mentoria 2025 is Now Open
Registration is now open for Q Mentoria—Consid’s mentorship program for women and non-binary individuals. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain guidance and insights from experienced IT and tech professionals, as part of Consid’s commitment to creating a more equitable and inclusive IT industry.
Women and non-binary individuals now have the chance to apply for Consid’s mentorship program, Q Mentoria, ahead of Spring 2025. This program offers participants a unique opportunity to grow and thrive in IT and tech, guided by experienced mentors with broad expertise across the industry.
The program is part of Consid’s long-term commitment to gender equality, aimed at opening doors for more women and non-binary individuals in a male-dominated field.
– For us, gender equality means empowering minorities to take the space they deserve in the tech industry. By sharing our knowledge and networks, we want to create a secure foundation for women and non-binary people to build on, so they can feel confident and inspired to grow and develop in a male-dominated field, says Filippa Ahlcrona, national head of Q by Consid.
The program is based on a thoughtful pairing of mentor and mentee, focused on the expectations, skills, and interests of both parties. From January to June, they will work closely together at a level of involvement suited to each mentee’s preferences.
The goal of the mentorship program is to foster a relationship between mentor and mentee that supports both personal and professional growth.
– By sharing their knowledge with a mentee, mentors contribute to strengthening the mentee’s professional identity and confidence in the workplace. Our aim is to create a relationship that leads to lasting growth and self-assurance, says Filippa Ahlcrona.
Q Mentoria is built on Consid’s belief that diversity and equality drive innovation and success, benefiting both businesses and individuals. By providing women and non-binary individuals access to professional guidance, Consid hopes to open more opportunities for emerging talents to reach their goals, while also making a broader impact on the industry.
