The old milk centeral – a modern space with a lot of character
The Borås office is located in parts of the old milk center that was established in the block in 1935. The building, designed by architect K A Boman, had cheese and egg storage, changing rooms, and a steam boiler in the basement. On the first floor, there were dairy machines and refrigeration rooms, while the upper floor was used as an office. Arla ended its operations in 1987, and the building underwent significant renovations in the following years for completely different types of activities.
The advertising agency Mecka took over the premises in 2004, which in turn was acquired by Consid in 2019. Today, there are few traces of the dairy left in the spacious premises with large open spaces and an upper floor with a suspended mezzanine. Instead, you are greeted with a modern space full of character and a warm inviting feeling. Today’s office is also a natural meeting place for the city’s business community, whether visiting us as a customer or guest at one of the frequently held inspirational breakfasts.
