The Project Manager from Capgemini
It’s a classic gray January day when Anders Halling opens the door to Consid’s office in the town by Lake Mälaren. Anders himself lives in a house in eastern Västerås with his wife and two of their three sons, as well as the family dog, Dino, a golden retriever in the prime of his life.
– I’m interested in sports and try to stay active, either running on the trails or at the gym. I also enjoy spending my free time on our boat or out in the archipelago, Anders says with a smile as he refills his coffee cup.
We settle into the lounge sofas, and Anders shares how his career started at ABB in the 90s. After a few years at the company, he decided to go back to school and further his education to become a business economist.
– After graduating, I started as a trainee at a subsidiary of IBM, and after four years there, I returned to ABB, this time as a certified SAP consultant.
Since then, Anders has continued in the SAP field with various roles, including manager, support lead, and project manager. Over the past ten years, his focus has been on project management at Capgemini. Now, he looks forward to continuing his work in SAP at Consid.
– What attracted me to Consid was the opportunity to be part of creating something new in the SAP field, as well as being part of an exciting Swedish IT consulting company that puts its employees first.
He continues:
– I’ve been very pleased so far; the onboarding was professional, and my new assignment was ready well in advance of my start date. All in all, it’s been a very positive and professional welcome and first period at Consid.
Anders’ colleagues describe him as social, curious, and a team player.
