Building a Future in One’s Former Home: Michael Lund-Andersen’s Journey with Consid
For almost two decades Michael has worked within the digital business and IT industry, holding several senior-level positions.
– Throughout most of my career I have helped develop my clients’ digital journeys. The scope of these positions and subject areas extends to a wide range of responsibilities including; sales/account management, market strategies, and team management in different business areas, says Michael Lund-Andersen.
Michael has demonstrated his competences by navigating the ever-evolving digital market. Notably, he accomplished this by running his own company back in the 2010s and successfully expanding Novicell’s operations in Copenhagen from a modest team of 4 to a thriving workforce of over 50 people. Which is why he brings in a lot of valuable expertise to the newly established Consid office in Denmark, as he has taken the start-up journey several times before.
– When you start from scratch with a limited setup it is extremely important that you are dedicated and patient during ups and downs. It takes a lot of hard work to build up something new and you can’t really predict where the process will take you which is a huge part of a journey like the one I have started with Consid.
Focus on finding the brightest IT consultants in Denmark
Back in April, when Michael started his journey with Consid, he made himself a new goal – to build a workplace with the combination of skilled people, a good work/life balance and a fun place to work. As the Director of Sales and Business Development he will be responsible for the growth in both client intake and recruitment of top-level IT experts and secure that the Consid’s spirit will be integrated in the Danish part of the organization.
– One of the primary reasons behind my decision to join Consid, is our dedication to solve things quickly and to the point. There is no complex hieracia interfering in the strategy for how we should run the business in Denmark.
Michael continues:
– Consid Denmark should be built for the Danish market with the best values and processes from the mothership. In Consid we firmly believe that building a good business and deliver a high quality can be achieved without the need for complex organizational structures. I am excited to be a part of this journey and I look forward to writing a new chapter together with Consid.
A creative place to work – with high skills
In May 2023 Michael and his colleagues got the keys to our new, newly renovated, premises in an old building with a lot of stories to be told – one of them is Michaels:
– Our new office is Holckenhus at H.C. Andersens Boulevard is a happy reunion with my old home. Holckenhus was my home in the early 2000’s, where I and a group of friends lived in the old renaissance mansion, Michael tells us.
With its rich artistic history, Holckenhus was used as a meeting place for artists and intellectuals in the 18th century, with the most famous residents being Marie and P.S. Krøyer. Later, the building was also used as a workshop for Vilhelm Hammershøi. Today, Holckenhus houses several arts and cultural organizations that continue to build on the rich artistic heritage in the building. As well as Consid, developing digital solutions for the future.
At Consid, offices have become an integral part of the brand, as the surroundings contribute to the company’s strategy of enhancing employee well-being. At Consid, the office is not merely a place to work but rather should feel like a second home, a place people willingly choose to be.
– In less than 6 months we have expanded with over 20 new colleagues in Denmark and counting, and over 7 new clients since February 2023. I am really looking forward to writing a new chapter, with Consid, says Michael.
