Returns to Consid
Tobias Wiklund has been focused on Sitevision’s CMS system since 2014. In 2018, he joined Consid as a developer to work on maintenance and new development of websites and intranets for Sitevision clients in the public sector. Three years later, Tobias chose to explore a new role outside of Consid.
– But there was always a thought in my mind that there is an opportunity to come back to Consid. So what I’m returning to now is a role I had outside of Consid, Tech Lead and Maintenance Manager. But I am still a developer, where I maintain a higher strategic perspective, says Tobias.
Tobias continues:
– Now, I want to grow into a more senior role at Consid. We are also facing a significant transition in the private sector, linked to accessibility directives that will also apply to the private sector starting on June 28, 2025. So, I want to spread knowledge in the field to existing and new clients. Some of them have become aware of digital accessibility, but my suspicion is that many will wake up in 2025 and feel the stress when they realize that accessibility adaptation needs to be completed soon. Now is the opportunity to start gradually and, for example, in Sitevision’s tool, there is support for accessibility auditing.
“Consid’s corporate culture is characterized by teamwork and collaboration.”
With new perspectives, Tobias sees advantages with Consid that he did not reflect on earlier. He highlights that Consid is a responsive employer where he always feels involved.
– At Consid, there is everything from a well-thought-out work environment that makes it easier for me to work. To what I see as the great thing, that we at Consid work as ‘one company’ and fight together. It doesn’t matter where you work geographically or what role you have; everyone fights for the whole in a nice way. Consid’s corporate culture is characterized by teamwork and collaboration.
Tobias has also been recognized as a “Sitevision Most Valuable Professional” and is currently a guest blogger on the theme “Sitevision is sometimes so good that you have to pinch yourself.” Sitevision describes Tobias with words such as:
“He values dialogue with the customer, finding good solutions that are both simple and cost-effective to maintain. Nowadays, his role is often a technical project manager, and he helps customers and developers take advantage of the strengths of the CMS system. He also works as a solution architect for projects to identify needs and challenges at an early stage.”
– The award was a confirmation that I have been working in the right way for many years, says Tobias Wiklund.
