The challenge
The big challenge was to create an easy-to-navigate website. The goal was to create a website where it is easy to find what you are looking for, regardless of whether you are a company representative, insured, an insurance broker or a partner. Portals for intermediaries and partners present information about Euro accident insurance in a clear and informative way. With the help of “My pages”, customers can see details about their insurance and how they are using their insurance. Consid received a comprehensive commitment that included requirements analysis, concepts, design, development, architecture, education, support, management and further development.
The solution
Consid were involved from the very beginning when Euro Accident evaluated different platforms. We compiled and compared different platforms in relation to their needs, goals and requirements. The choice of platform was the Swedish-developed CMS SiteVision. Euro Accident already had a Microsoft environment in its infrastructure, which led to many questions and concerns about whether SiteVision really was a suitable platform. This was extra important as the customers would take care of the daily operations themselves. SiteVision easily met the requirements for simplicity for editors while it would be possible to integrate and personalize. Together with SiteVision, we showed them that there were no problems, despite a Microsoft environment. SiteVision is platform independent and thus works just as well in a Microsoft environment as in a Linux-based environment.
The login to “My pages” and the Portals takes place via BankID. However, the solution also supports sign-on (SSO) for Euro Accident’s own employees or partners, which means that the visitor is automatically logged in when visiting the logged in parts of the website.
In addition to the Swedish website, a Danish and a Norwegian version were also created for Euro Accident’s operations in these countries. Should Euro Accident be in need of more countries and languages, there is of course that possibility directly in the tool.
– This has been a really exciting project where we have used the latest technologies in the platform SiteVision to create a logged-in location with a seamless integration to the underlying insurance system, says Alexander Gustafsson, Architect and Business Development Manager at Consid.
The result
The result shows a completely new design, new linguistic tonality, new content and a new structure. In addition, a completely new “My pages” has been created for those who have insurance with Euro Accident. After logging in with BankID, as a private person you see your insurances, what they apply to and above all how to use the insurance and report a damage. If you instead log in to your professional role, such as insurance intermediaries, you will instead receive a portal with in-depth information about Euro Accident’s insurance and related documents, based on your role, qualifications and partnership. Based on role, you are met by a personalized view with the right information.
– The portals are one of our most important channels and we hope that our service will be even better with the help of the new website, says Miles de Champs, Head of Communications at Euro Accident.
