Training

Microsoft Copilot

In March, Gustaf Åhs and Ann Svalling from Consid delivered a Microsoft Copilot training session for the trade union Akavia. After receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback, the duo has decided to offer the training again this autumn. Here’s everything you need to know about the course and what to expect!

Streamlining the Internal Work Environment

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the way we work, communicate, and collaborate. In spring 2024, Microsoft Copilot was launched in Swedish – a major milestone that enables a more accessible and intuitive use of AI in professional settings. By integrating AI into the most commonly used Microsoft 365 applications – such as Teams, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint – organizations can streamline workflows, enhance daily work quality, and free up time for tasks that truly add value. Microsoft Copilot acts as a personal assistant, supporting employees with communication, documentation, research, and analysis. It's not just about technical efficiency – it’s about creating a more sustainable, engaging, and human-centered work environment, where technology supports and unlocks potential.

Training for Akavia – From Theory to Practical Use

In March, Gustaf Åhs and Ann Svalling from Consid led a full-day training session for the trade union Akavia, focusing on how Copilot can be applied to strengthen internal processes. The aim was to provide participants with knowledge, inspiration, and the confidence to use the tool in their daily work – regardless of their role or technical background.

– Through this training, we want to inspire and demonstrate how Copilot can support everyday work. During the session at Akavia, we incorporated hands-on exercises to lower the threshold and make it easier to get started with Copilot in daily tasks, says Ann Svalling.

The day included presentations, practical exercises, and real-life scenarios tailored to Akavia’s needs, resulting in high engagement and immediate relevance. The response from Akavia’s team was overwhelmingly positive.

– It went great! They were very, very pleased, says Gustaf Åhs.

Core Components of the Training

Participants learned how Copilot can streamline meeting management through recordings, transcriptions, and task follow-ups – enabling clearer communication, reducing information loss, and increasing inclusion, especially for colleagues who can’t attend in real time.

Copilot helps identify, organize, and summarize emails, and draft replies – saving valuable time in the inbox without compromising quality or precision.

With well-crafted prompts – including defined roles, context, task, audience, and tone – users can quickly generate relevant information, insights, and analyses that would otherwise take significant manual effort.

With Copilot, users can efficiently create structured and stylistically polished documents and PowerPoint presentations. This allows teams to focus on content quality and messaging rather than formatting and writing from scratch.

Results and Insights – A Smarter Workday

The training was very well received, and many participants shared how Copilot unlocked new ways of working that previously felt time-consuming. By reducing administrative tasks and supporting knowledge-intensive work, Copilot can enhance both productivity and job satisfaction.

– Copilot helps us work smarter – not harder. By freeing up time for what really matters, organizations can focus on value-driven work, professional growth, innovation, and collaboration, says Ann Svalling.

Gustaf Åhs adds:

– Copilot streamlines every part of the workday. You save an incredible amount of time that can be redirected to more meaningful tasks. For those of us working at the computer daily, Copilot opens up entirely new possibilities – it can be integrated into almost everything we do.

Training employees in the practical use of AI is no longer a futuristic vision – it’s a necessary investment in skills, competitiveness, and sustainable leadership. Consid offers tailored training programs in Copilot and other AI tools, with every session adapted to the organization’s specific needs and goals.

– Additionally, the training will be available per seat, making it accessible for both small and large companies, says Gustaf.
