About the course
This course teaches you how Scrum strategies can help you manage your product and service development in a way that generates the maximum possible value in a complex and ever-changing environment. It’s about practising Scrum in your daily work but also about the agile mindset and how to act as a Product Owner.
The course is designed for practitioners who are currently working as purchasers, Product Owners or Product Managers, and for those at the beginning of their journey, preferably with basic understanding of the agile way of working.
Content
- How to create a backlog that provides a deep understanding of the actual product and enables effective release planning.
- The Product Owner role in comparison to the Scrum Master and the Development Team.
- Collaborating with customers and users throughout the development process.
- Shifting from plan-driven product development to feedback-driven approach, using feedback loops.
- Facilitation techniques and tools for fostering mutual understanding among teams and other stakeholders.
- The course consists of approximately equal parts of theory and practical exercises. The course content is flexible and based on participants’ questions and knowledge levels.
Certification
This is a certification-preparatory course for Professional Scrum Product Owner, PSPO. You will attain certification by attending a minimum of 95% of the course duration and successfully completing the certification exam on Scrum.org.
The certification test, “Professional Scrum Product Owner, PSPO I,” is not included in the course fee. The test is conducted online within two weeks following the course.
Certification is optional and not a requirement to complete the course.
